This evening last October was so precious.

Cat + Jeff had to postpone their wedding, so we decided to do a couples session to mark the day and celebrate their relationship. Jeff surprised Cat with this increeeedible flower crown by the amazing Diana of D.L. Noone Florals.
TOO SWEET.

All day the weather was calling for massive thunderstorms. I was so nervous we were gonna get rained out but with how unpredictable Michigan weather is we decided to go for it anyway and I’m so glad we did. We ended up with plenty of time for our session and the sky was so perfectly dramatic.

The first time I did photos for these pals was after their first kiddo was born, and it has just been the best gift to get to document so many of these milestones for them.

Their love for each other is tangible. Toward the end of our session I had them practice their first dance and Y’ALLLLL I was tearing up so hard behind the camera lol. Just too precious.
